Sitting back there, taking up a whopping 0.3-0.5 percent of my resources (grin), sits MenuBar Stats - offering up-to-the second information and details about my 13” MacBook Air. From WiFI status, to Memory and CPU use, Temperature of 13 intimate areas of my computer, and status of Fans, Disks, and Battery. If you ever need support, he is there and will quickly reply to your inquiries.

But for the most part, it’s all right there. I needed to “find” “SMC Helper” to enable Temp and Fan Info - but it is right there in Preferences. Diehard Apple devotees may declare none of this is necessary - just use your Macs. But I find having all that intimate info and stats “comforting.” Well-designed app - wouldn’t own a Mac without it. Not only can you rearrange the order while holding shift but also you can toggle text or graphs. This is a time tested app that every mac owner should have. I highly recommend it and helps me stay aware of what my mac is doing. For example lets say your MacBook Pro is heating up. With the cpu or memory graph you can see the top 5 processes. This works in standalone mode, which I have recently preferred. Also I just found this feature, if you click memory you can clean your memory too!

Once I updated to High Sierra though with the new file system the Disk module wont read disk usage anymore. It can see reads & writes but not much beyond that.

Top notch app though: I’ve been using it daily and it opens on login. Can’t live without seeing my temps and network / memory usage! EDIT: Adjusting review to 5 stars. Literally hours after I posted this review an update was pushed out from the developer that resolved the issue with APFS. Excellent work! Developer Response, Hi ZeroLambda, the upgrade for macOS High Sierra APFS is on the way.

It has been approved. Should be in the store very quickly today. ZeroLambda, Needs APFS Support (Fixed) Everything works great. Once I updated to High Sierra though with the new file system the Disk module wont read disk usage anymore. It can see reads & writes but not much beyond that.
